Meet the team
Dr Thomasina Craster has 20 years of experience as a chiropractor and has run her own practice for 19 years.
She trained for five years at the University of Glamorgan, Wales, and graduated in 2005 as a fully qualified traditional chiropractor and doctor of chiropractic. She is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and a member of the United Chiropractic Association.
She specialises neurologically and is certified to practice a revolutionary technique called Network Spinal Analysis and its closely related system of Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI) breathing exercises.
She has been taught by the founder himself – Dr Donald Epstein - and has attained the highest qualification in this technique.
Dr Thomasina first came across NSA at the age of 14, when the treatment helped prevent and treat her injuries as a dancer. She later took seminars on the subject whilst training at university.
Training as a chiropractor was a natural progression leading on from a professional dance career that took Dr Thomasina on tour around the world. Most of her dance career focused on social issues prevalent in the areas she was performing in and running workshops for youth and the underprivileged. She also taught yoga, meditation and dance throughout her training to support herself during her degree.
Dr Craster is a member of the XCELS group which stands for Community, Communication, Excellence, Leadership and Service and was created by Drs Pierre Bernier of Gatineau, Quebec and Dominique Hort of Lugano, Switzerland. The pioneering membership consists of 64 doctors from North America and Europe who are dedicated to serving their communities with passion and integrity. Dr Thomasina also travels regularly to Italy to further hone her NSA skills.
She moved to Bath because it reminds her of her home town Cambridge, but with nearby cliffs and mountains so she can enjoy rock climbing and rowing.
